Rules of the Game
1. Toss will be held to decide the Runner and Chaser. Runner will run to safe themselves and Chaser will sit inside the Chaser Block of 30 x 30 cm.
2. A kho match consist of four inning. One team will two times become chaser and two times runner. Total time for a inning is 7 minutes. Total kho match timing is 28 minutes excluding break time.
3. Which team score more (catch the players) that will decided winner.
4. There is total 12 players in a team. Nine players will play inside the ground and three players will be substitute.
5. Eight players sit inside the Chaser block and one player start the game from the pole to catch opponent players.
6. If a first chaser face in east direction than chaser two face will be in west direction. Chaser third face will be in east direction.
7. The catcher always pass the kho from the behind the player and without touch kho will not accepted. If a player run in advance without getting kho than its called foul by the referee.
8. When a player pass the kho to their player than chanting the word kho is necessary.
9. A chaser can’t change their direction if he taken a move in a direction than he has pass the kho to their team mate or go to touch pole line to change their move. (Wazir, Who is allowed to run in any direction.)
10. In the starting of the game running team three players enter in the ground to run. If these three players will be out by the chasers than other three will be enter in the ground. If all team players will out than chaser will be run and runner will now sit in chasing blocks.
11. Chaser can’t cross the center line but runner can run in full court without restriction.
