Evidence-Based Assessment of Muscular Strength

Strength testing evaluates an athlete’s ability to produce force under standardized conditions. These assessments help measure maximal strength, identify strength imbalances, monitor training adaptations, and support evidence-based athletic performance development.

KEY BENEFITS ✓ Quantifies Musclar Strength
✓ Identifies Strength
✓ Supports Individualized Training
✓ Monitors Performance progress
✓ Supports Athletic Performance
✓ Informs Injury
✓ Enable Athlete Profiling
✓ Improve testing and training decision

Maximal Strength

1Rm Bench Press, 1Rm Squat

Measurment : Maximum Load lifted(kg), under a specified protocol.

Explosive Strength

Handgrip Dynometry

Measurement: Grip Force, usually recorded in kg or N, according to the device.

Grip Strength

Example : Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull,

Measurement : Peakforce(N) and additional force-time variables where appropriate.

Isometric Strength

Example: Countermovement Jump, loaded jump tests.

Measurement: Jump height, force-time variables, or power where validlymeasured. These tests overlap with power assessments.
