Indian Olympian Archery Player Dhiraj Bommadevara

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, India has qualified 117 athletes, comprising 70 men and 47 women, across 16 sporting disciplines. India will compete in 69 events with a total of 95 medals at stake. Notably, 29 athletes will represent India for the first time in various events. Rohan Bopanna, at the age of 44, will be the oldest participant in tennis. Conversely, the youngest competitor is Dhinidhi Desinghu, a 14-year-old swimmer.

Dhiraj was the best competitor for medal in archery competition for India but in he missed the bronze medal with equalized the score 68. He hit 14 arrows on X’s and German Archer scored 15.

What is X in Archery ?

X is referred to Innermost ring on the target face It is also known as Inner 10 or X ring. This X play important role to break the tie between two players. Which player have more X in competition he wins the game.

Archery Individual competition Rules.

1. There is two half in one competition.
2. Every Athlete Hit 6 Arrows in a round.
3. 6 Ends in a half. Total 12 Ends (rounds) in a match.
4. Total number of points will be calculated in each round.
5. X will be get 10 points and X’s for tie break.
