                                        What is Surya Mudra

As we know Surya in English called Sun and Sun is the god of universe. Human being get energy from plants and plants get energy from sun. Fire is most important elements of the body. Its called the heat or temperature. Human body required to maintain temperature in summer and the winter. Inhaling and the exhaling help us to maintain body temperature.  Our body normal temperature is 37 degree Celsius. Our body part of brain hypothalamus maintain the body temperature.

1. Heat is required to maintain metabolism.

2. Heat is required to maintain Body temperature 37 degree Celsius.

3. To maintain the heart plus Rate.

4. Sweating also depend upon the body heat.

5. Mental status also depend upon the level of heat.

 

 
HOW TO PERFORM Surya MUDRA

First of sit in any comfortable position. You can sit in Padmasna , Sukhasana, Siddhasna. Place your hand on the thigh as shown in the picture. keep your Wrist on the knee and spinal cord must be straight. After this fold your ring finger towards thumb and join the tips of ring finger and thumb. Close your eyes  and start inhaling and exhaling.
