In 1894 the father of modern Olympic Games “Pierre de Coubertin” want a motto or Slogan that expressed excellence in sport.
So that, the motto was decided in Latin was “Citius, Altius, Fortius. Its Mean Faster, Higher and Stronger.This motto talking about a man that can be Run Faster, that aim can be higher and he can make themselves stronger.
In the 138 session of the International Olympic committee (IOC) on 20th July 2021 has given a new name to conclude : A change in the Olympic motto that recognises the unifying power of sports and the importance of Solidarity. The mission of IOC to make world a better place through Sports.
On the earth we all can improve if we are together, we can go faster, we can only make higher aim and we can become stronger but without each other these all aim are useless.
The motto is also the part of society. The world will be the more stronger If we all stand together. The Motto is not changed, it has added a word “Together”. The word ‘together’ means — solidarity.”
IOC also run global campaign entitled “Stronger Together”.
After the pandemic Covid 19 all world has stopped but athletes of the world start their journey in the “Tokyo Olympics 2020”.This is the story of strength and power pass the massage around the world for hope, unity and Inspiration.
