- Muscular power is the power of the muscle which generates power to complete a task. Muscular power is the addition of two components that is speed and strength to complete a task. We apply power to move an object but muscular power depend upon the object weight and circumference. If we are applying power on a small object then we can easily move that object to apply power of finger but in other situation if we are applying power against a big stone than our all muscle of the body apply power to move that object. Power will be applied on the object after contraction and relaxation of the muscles. In different sports player required muscular power to overcome on opponents. In wrestling a wrestler required muscular power to push him backward and the same time opponent athlete also required muscular power to stop that athlete.
Example of Muscular power is,
- Lifting weight
- Working with resistance bands
- Cycling
- Dance
- Squats, push-ups
- Hill walking
- Climbing Stairs
