Explosive Strength and Its Types, How to Improve Strength

Explosive strength is also depending upon the combination of muscle and the mind. In explosive strength we require speed strength to complete the movement.  When we start running, jumping, swimming, and cycling activities then to get a momentum we require speed strength. When a weight lifter pulls up the weight in upward direction with snatch, then he requires an explosive strength. Same in the standing broad jump a player needs explosive strength to cover maximum distance. Strength has three types,

  • Statistic
  • Explosive
  • Dynamics

To apply statistic strength a player stops the opponent players to apply force. As we can understand the name of statistics is the power of force applied on the object to stand on one place. If a player applies force on the other player to stop him then he requires power and balance. If he stands on one place then he has to apply force to take help of gravitational force. Static force is very tuff in compression of movement force. One point is positive in static strength; a player can prepare him for the action to take position in advance in front of the opponent.

In explosive strength a player needs maximum energy to complete a task. Explosive strength depends upon the training of the player. Player applies their all force to stop the opponent and also apply the skill. In the explosive strength if a match timing is 15 minutes than a player fight with opponent full time with same aggression and power but it’s can’t possible he need to take a rest and then after rest he will charge themselves and fight with the same rhythms, Few games are very fast and they required extra power and explosive strength. Player doesn’t have time to take a break and again collect energy to play for a duration. In this game skill plays an important role when a player is tired. A tired player comes in backward position and other back position players move forward to play in the front line. After a few seconds they again changed their position and due to this technique players get rest and perform better after taking rest.

In dynamic strength work will continue after the power exhaust. Dynamic strength is most important for a player. When two players have the equal physical fitness components and they have the same winning chances of a tournament then dynamic strength is most important for the player. If a player’s dynamic strength is better than other than he will wait for the last moment of the competition. In the game tactics, the best dynamic strength player plays the full game till the last moment and waits for the tiredness of the opponent because he knows the weak point of the opponent and the positive point of their half. It needs time with a scheduled work plan. It requires an expert team which watches each and every step of the player and guides them from time to time about their errors. It required all the fitness components with digital coaches, those aware about the other sports sciences also.

Now we explain the above mentioned points that are most important to gain Explosive strength. Sprint is a short distance race. This can perform in 30 mt., 50 mt. and 70 meters. This is performed between two points. First is the starting line and the other is the finish line. To improve the speed time should be recorded. This short distance race is also the same as the hundred meter race but in this race there is a difference in that it can start in standing position and the player also can finish the race on the toes.

Jumping is the most important exercise for explosive strength. Jumping are commonly two main types. One is standing jump and other is running or stepping jump. In explosive strength standing broad jump is the very common method, which is used by the researcher. Swimming is the best fitness workout for the players. All the players love to swim after the workout but few only know swimming is the best pulmonary exercise. It improves lungs capacity and makes our lungs strong so this is also good for explosive strength workout. When we kick someone we have to take our leg in the air and so many times we have to repeat this exercise. To take up the legs in the air a player requires extra power and when he repeats this exercise so many times it improves the strength of the player. In judo this technique is very common and used by the player for attack on the opponents. Boxing is the best explosive power and strength game. In boxing a player required extra efforts of hand and the leg to punch opponents. So punching is also an explosive strength exercise. In punching a player requires hands power and movement of the arms. In throwing a player improves the power of the arms and it’s also a requirement for good throws. Hopping is the most important for a football player because in hoping technique a player needs to stay in the air for a while. This is the best exercise for children to learn the jumping with one foot and stay in the air. In all the schools practice is compulsory.
